History

• Year 2008, where the three (3) parent associations are independently implementing its programs and services exclusive to their enrolled children and their families agree to form a much more stable and wider reach community approach of program implementation known as “Bright Future” approach of programing in partnership with Christian Childrens Fund (CCF).

• Late 2008, October,the Federation of Associations for Communities and Children Empowerment (FACE), Inc. was organized and was registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission on March 10, 2009. FACE, Inc consists of three (3) Parent Associations; Laan Para sa Kinabukasan, Inc. in Sorsogon City, CKC Family and Alumni Association, Inc. (formerly Mt. Zion Family Development Association, Inc.) in Pili Camarines Sur and Banaag nin Sarong Grupo, Inc. in Irosin.

• FACE, Inc. and ChildFund Philippines (formerly Christian Childrens Fund) forged a partnership with the aim of helping the Deprived, Excluded and Vulnerable children in the Bicol Area, develop the Children's fullest potential and to promote participation among communities for them to value, practice and advance the worth and rights of the children. Upholding that children and partner organizations will be given the opportunity to design and shape the programs that will be implemented in their communities, the participatory process was embarked on to identify the faces of child poverty in Bicol. As of June 2023 FACE, Inc. covers 31 barangays in Sorsogon and Camarines Sur provinces.
